On 9th August, the State Council issued directive opinion on China nuclear power standardization aiming at a system with unified technology and completed perfect structure by 2019. By 2022 Chinese standards are planned to achieve the powerful international influence and remarkable international recognition and reach the worldwide leading level in 2027. One of the key mission is to promote wide international cooperation in depth including:
- Investigation and research on policy, supervision mechanism and standardization of current nuclear power commercial countries for bilateral or multilateral coordination
- Cooperation with international standardization organizations and developed nuclear power countries for standards adoption and recognition
