On 3rd August, CFDA released the formulation and revision plan for ministry-level standards on medical devices. The plan covered 99 ministry-level standards in total including 68 new formulations and 31 revisions. As one of the exceptions and special industries stated by Standardization Law of PRC (Chapter 10), 29 ministry-level standards mentioned were designed as compulsory.
