On 9th January, SAMR and SAC officially approved the national standard on term and classification on maturity of new material technology organized by MIIT, which shall come into force on 1st July, 2019. The standard has taken fully consideration of new material’s real conditions on respective phase, defined three phases and nine grades, developed assessment rules and specifications for classification.
SESEC views: the new standard unifies and integrates definition, terms and classification of new material’s maturity national widely, equal to guide and reference for policy, industry development and societal capital and investment.
